Sonia’s “Velvet Chai” Protein Balls

These protein balls are for an allowable sweet treat! They are made using my Velvet Latte powder and cranberries to give a beautiful colour and natural sweetness. They contain my Ultra Clean Protein, plus essential fats from cashews and chia seeds, to keep your blood sugars balanced. You won’t be disappointed!

Method:

Place cashews into the food processor with protein powder, chia seeds, and Velvet Latte powder.

Process until the mix looks fine and crumbly.

Add pre-soaked cranberries and process again until the mix starts to come together.

Add a splash of water if you need to so that mixture is soft and forms a soft ball when cupped in your hand.

Form into decent sized balls with wet hands by rolling between the palms of your hands.

Roll in coconut and store in the fridge for up to 4 weeks (or I double the batch and keep them in the freezer.. they are actually heavenly frozen!).
